Our Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon shows impressive depth, richness
and refinement on the palate. Generous black fruit flavors are accented by
hints of dried herb, mocha and cedar against a backdrop of plush tannins. The
bold flavors or an aged sirloin or roast rack of lamb pair well with this
quintessential Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink through 2024.

Miner is a dynamic family-owned winery tucked
along the eastern hills of the Oakville appellation in the heart of Napa
Valley. Founded in 1998 by Dave and Emily Miner, Miner Family Winery crafts
reserve-style wines by sourcing fruit from Napa Valley and other specially-selected
California vineyards .

Winemakers Gary Brookman
& Stacy Vogel uses a combination of old world winemaking techniques and
modern technology to make wines that reflect the unique characteristics of
individual vineyards or “terroir” where specific varietals grow best. This
fusion of superb vineyard sites and thoughtful winemaking allows Miner to
deliver elegant, expressive wines.

Tasting note: Glorious purity of fruit here with black
currants, blueberries, dark chocolate, fresh herbs and forest floor. Hints of
mint too, plus hazelnut and chocolate. Full body with seamless tannins and
balance. Tight and compacted tannins with beautiful fruit and great length.
Goes on for minutes. One of the best Opus’ in years. Hard not to drink now but
better in 2018. October 2015 release. This is 79% cabernet sauvignon, 7%
cabernet franc, 6% merlot, 6% petit verdot and 2% malbec. (29-Jul-2015) James Suckling

Tasting note: Attractive array of flavors that range from
smoked wood to dark cherry and cassis. Focused and pure with generosity and
concentration. A beautiful Opus One that will age well over the next 15+ years.
Tasted in: Napa Valley, USA. Maturity: Young. (25-Aug-2014) Asian Palate Jeannie Cho Le

Tasting note: Deep, glowing crimson. Complex, pretty perfume
with some purple fruit (cassis more than anything else), a hint of game but
overlaying it all great sweetness without too much alcohol (though a little
heat on the finish). Very concentrated and flattering. Lots of ripe tannin
tucked away on the finish. Much sweeter than a Bordeaux would be but not
sickly. Hint of something powdery/smoky on the finish. (04-Sep-2015) Jancis Robinson
